Northern Territory Women’s Regatta sees a 2nd year of success

The 2nd annual Northern Territory Women’s Regatta (NTWR) was held at The Darwin Sailing Club (DSC) over the weekend on 21st and 22nd August 2021 and it was a resounding success.

Down time means gardening time at Darwin Sailing Club

After the Darwin Sailing Club was forced to stand down their staff in March things were not looking good for the club grounds as gardening was not the highest priority. A number of green thumbed senior members led by Lindsey Wharton took matters into their own hands.

NT Big Boat Challenge Wrap Up

Last weekend saw a fantastic two days of sailing with a variety of races and winds for the 2018 BIG Boat Regatta.Â This year we had 17 boats participating across 4 divisions.Â There were teams representing both DSC & DBCYA, Defence & GBC had teams chartering 3 of the Elliot 7 and there was also a WOW team aboard Cleaning Lady.
