Australian Sailing is excited to announce the return of Discover Sailing Month this November, with clubs and Discover Sailing Centres across the country encouraged to start planning their Discover Sailing Day and participation activities now.

Discover Sailing Month is your opportunity to showcase sailing and everything your club has to offer to your local community. Throughout November, clubs are encouraged to host Discover Sailing Days, come-and-try sessions and introductory experiences designed to give newcomers a taste of sailing.

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about how your club will participate and what type of experiences you will offer to create a memorable first impression for future sailors. Early planning will help your club maximise participation and get the most out of your event.

To help you promote your Discover Sailing Day, Australian Sailing will soon release a brand-new suite of marketing assets. Available in Canva, these resources will include social media tiles, posters and flyers, making it easier than ever for clubs to spread the word and attract new participants. In addition, clubs hosting SheSails and Sail Our Way events will have access to a dedicated suite of campaign assets tailored specifically for female-focused events.

We’ll also be promoting Discover Sailing Days across our website and social media channels, with a spotlight on events listed in revSPORT to help bring more people down to your club.
