Support for the team through the Patrons Program helps athletes access world-class coaching, training environments, equipment and international competition opportunities, enabling Australia’s best sailors to continue performing on the global stage and inspiring the next generation of sailors across the country.

SailLAB

SailLAB is a new initiative that brings the sport of sailing to the classroom through a custom 'built-by-teachers' STEM education program, linked to the Australian Curriculum. By integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematic concepts into the classroom, we aim to inspire the next generation of sailors, innovators and leaders. Our biggest challenge at this point is providing the staffing and resources to match the demand from schools to run SailLAB in their classrooms, so we are seeking support to finance the growth of the program going forward.

Support Para Sailing in Australia

Australian Sailing proudly supports the re-inclusion of sailing at the Paralympic Games and we stand alongside World Sailing in their efforts to see the sport return to the Paralympic stage, as outlined in their Para Inclusive Strategy. We are seeking support to develop our para sailors as they train and compete at key Para Sailing events such as the World Sailing Inclusion Championships, which will help prepare them for potential Paralympic campaigns. Donations help remove barriers to participation by supporting accessible equipment, coaching, training programs and competition pathways, ensuring more sailors can experience the benefits of the sport and pursue their ambitions on and off the water.

The Australian Youth Sailing World Championships Team showcases the country’s most promising young sailors as they prepare to compete against the world’s best emerging talent. Support for the 2026 campaign helps athletes access essential training, coaching and international competition experience, providing invaluable development opportunities while building the foundations for future Australian success at world championship and Olympic levels.
