Day 4, "the finals" of the 2025 Harken International Youth Match Racing Championship began with a delayed start as the race committee waited for "any" breeze to build. A gentle, variable north-easterly surface promised a tricky day of light, shifting breeze as the event moved into the semi-finals. Race Officer Ted Anderson summed it up simply: “It’s going to be a Dustbowl.”

Another memorable Bullets Regatta!

Saturday’s sky was a bit weird, but the wind gods did not disappoint, with consistent 15~18 knot afternoon sea breeze assisted by a bit of gradient input, and a few bullets of 20 knots or more to keep competitors on their toes.

Breezy Start for the NSW Finn State Championship

A big day out on the harbour today for Day 1 of the NSW State Titles, held in some truly testing conditions hosted by Woollahra Sailing Club. We were greeted at the club by a gentle nor’easter that didn’t stay gentle for long - steadily building throughout the day and setting the scene for some fantastic racing.
