The 2026 Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Harbour Regatta got away in a fluky light nor ‘easterly breeze as the event celebrates turning 21 and while there were some of the usual suspects at the top of the scoreboards at the Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC) hosted event, it was not always the case, as conditions played havoc and bamboozled some.

WISC Regatta 2026 brings out Female Helms
Sandringham Yacht Club staged their annual WISC (Women in Sailing Challenge) regatta on Sunday 1 March for their two race short course racing division which included hosting Race Day 2 of the Port Phillip Women’s Championship Series (PPWCS) attracting boats from other clubs. An additional cruising division with a longer single race encouraged more female sailors to take up the helm for the day.
