World champions across multiple classes and record club memberships drove a record number of nominations for the 2019 Australian Sailing Awards, with the best today announced as finalists for the sportâ€™s peak awards.

2019 Queensland Yachting Championships

The 2019 Queensland Yachting Championships, incorporating the Queensland IRC Championships, were held at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on the 28th and 29th of September in winds ranging from Light Oscillating through to a powerful 20 to 25 knot Northerly; under the supervision of Principal Race Officer John Obrien.

Cruising Yacht Club Hamilton Island launches She Sail Trophy Series

Perfect Sailing Conditions Conclude the 2018 Etchells Worlds

Seen a lot of water. Been to a lot of places. Today, Brisbane pretty much offered the classic mix of sun, and just enough wind for the last two races of the 2018 Etchells World Championship. I think it is fair to say that it was very much appreciated by all and sundry, whether they were competitors, or part of the large flotilla of spectators who took to Moreton Bay to witness the crowning of a new champion.
