Club in Focus – Royal Brighton Yacht Club

Established in 1875, alongside Brighton Pier on picturesque Port Phillip, is the Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC). RBYC joins other clubs around the Bay in promoting the sport of sailing with active programs in racing, cruising, women’s, youth and junior sailing. Whether you are a complete beginner, experienced sailor, or if you merely wish to enjoy the club’s hospitality and facilities on a social basis, you will receive a warm welcome at RBYC.

Club in Focus - Dobroyd Aquatic Club

The Dobroyd Aquatic Club (DAC) is a friendly and inclusive sailing club that sits on Rodd Point in Iron Cove, in Sydney’s Inner West. Members and guests enjoy sailing in this quieter part of Sydney Harbour with no ferry stops and few power boats in the area. DAC focuses on making sailing fun, affordable, and accessible for all.

Club in Focus: Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club

With a history dating back to at least 1905, the Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) is located at the northern end of the renowned Lake Macquarie in New South Wales and is one of only three clubs from around Australia selected to host members of the Australian SailGP team – including local Olympian Nathan Outteridge – when they visit our shores this February.

CLUB IN FOCUS: Gosford Sailing Club (GSC)

Gosford Sailing Club is located on the North Eastern foreshore of Brisbane Waters at 28 Masons Parade Gosford. Brisbane Waters are fed by the Hawkesbury River with its entrance opposite the Pittwater which is to the South. GSC is also home to World Champion sailor and Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Slingsby.
