2020 Flying Fifteen Tally Hobbs Memorial Regatta

The Tally Hobbs Memorial Regatta is named after a family of pioneers who introduced the class to Western Australia. The regatta this year was sailed on the open ocean off Fremantle, the venue for the 2021 Flying Fifteen World Championship which is scheduled to be sailed in exactly one years time.

Love the Bay! Batemans Bay Regatta April 2020

The South Coast of NSW had a terrible summer but Batemans Bay Sailing Club is gearing up again for its annual regatta for off-the-beach dinghies and multihulls. This year the regatta will be held over on the weekend of Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April.

Challenge Kids Take To The Water

Children attending the Challenge Camp had a day on the water at Blairgowrie. They swam with the dolphins and then after lunch sailed in the Hansa 303s at BYS and rode in Patrol Boats.

Gosford Sailing Club is located on the North Eastern foreshore of Brisbane Waters at 28 Masons Parade Gosford. Brisbane Waters are fed by the Hawkesbury River with its entrance opposite the Pittwater which is to the South. GSC is also home to World Champion sailor and Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Slingsby.

Feisty first act of MC38 2020 season goes to Lightspeed

The MC38s are back at it and the new season began with fireworks, Lightspeed struck hard by Lazy Dog in a port/starboard incident in fresh conditions on Saturday February 1 and unable to finish the day, but ultimately returning to claim top regatta honours.
