2025 WA Sailing Awards Celebrates Achievements from the Past Year
Published Tue 07 Oct 2025
The WA sailing community gathered to celebrate and acknowledge the performers and contributors of the past year, at the 2025 WA Sailing Awards on Thursday 2 October, at Nedlands Yacht Club.
It was pleasing to see over 130 guests join us for this special evening, including a number of regional Club representatives. This number represented an 86% increase on last year’s attendance, and we thank the WA sailing community for their commitment and engagement with the WA Sailing Awards in 2025.
A number of distinguished guests were in attendance, to assist with the awarding of both the WA Sailing Awards and Barranjoey Pins, including Australian Sailing CEO and Olympian Malcolm Page, Paralympian Colin Harrison, Yachting WA President Emily Jones, Australian Sailing Board Member Luke Paterson and WA Government representative Angele Gray.
