Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity & Inclusion
Australian Sailing is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, fun and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Sailing has the potential to reflect the diversity of our nation, and we strive to ensure all Australians feel a sense of belonging both on and off the water.
Through our initiatives and resources, we aim to break down barriers to participation, promote respect and create opportunities for people from all backgrounds to experience the joy of sailing.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion StrategyTo support ourcommitment, Australian Sailing has established the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisory Group. This team of eight dedicated experts has played a pivotal role in shaping our strategy for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in sailing. The Advisory Group's mission is to foster a safe environment that values, respects and welcomes everyone. Through consultation with clubs across the country, the Advisory group has helped Australian Sailing develop a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy for Sailing for 2025-2028, aimed at driving meaningful change across the sailing community. |
