Matador too good in Act 2 of Pallas Capital TP52 Gold Cup

David Doherty and his reigning TP52 Gold Cup champion, Matador, is proving a hard act to follow – Doherty won Act 1 of the Pallas Capital TP52 Gold Cup in March and romped home to victory in Act 2, being held in conjunction with the SailFest Newcastle Regatta.

Nationals wrap up in Wynyard

The 2023 Australian Hansa Class Championships returned to Tasmania for the first time since 2015 – this time being hosted by Wynyard Yacht Club. The Club was hosting the event in their recently completed state of the art facilities and, whilst the main facilities had been completed, there were some final touches of grass being laid and concreting being completed days before competitors arrived.

Resources launched as part of World Autism Day and Autism Awareness Month

In recognition of World Autism Day and Autism Awareness month this April, Australian Sailing has teamed up with AMAZE - the peak body for Autism in Victoria - to produce resources for instructors and clubs to help ensure children with Autism have a quality experience when trying sailing for the first time.
