Discover Sailing Day 2019 took place over the weekend at many Sailing clubs across the country, giving their local communities a taste of what Sailing has to offer.
The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron’s 2019 Sail Brisbane Regatta (Off the Beach Classes, All Ages) entry list is starting to fill-in, with entries from the Finn, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, OK Dinghy, Optimist and VX Ones classes.Â

The Inverloch Classic Wooden Dinghy Regatta has again been scheduled for the Australia Day Weekend in January. Hosted by South Gippsland YC the event has grown to become the largest event of its type in Australia and would seem to be responsible for the resurgence of a number of classic classes.
This race is specifically designed to help those new to ocean sailing while assisting those already established sailors with crew development with tactical and navigation challenges.
