Sunfish sighting reported in the ORCV Carnival of Short-Handed sailing race

The passion for short-handed sailing is well alive in Melbourne sailing scene with James Russell on his Adams 10 yacht, Surprise (SM63) being crowned overall winner in a fleet of 33 starters. A glorious autumn day, races within a race and a sunfish sighting, all made to what could only be described as the magic of a carnival for community who attended.

AusPlay Survey: Sailing & Other Olympic Sports

AusPlay commenced in October 2015 and is the largest and most comprehensive survey of its kind ever conducted in Australia. Each year, 20,000 adults aged 15+ complete the survey. Apart from providing information about their own participation, parents/guardians of children under the age of 15 are asked about organised physical activities undertaken by one of their children outside of school hours.

Our aim is to continue to decrease the ‘Unpaid or Not Categorised’ people within the system, to ensure that we have the most accurate figures.
