Coach of the Year
Introduced in 2015, the Coach of the Year Award recognises fully qualified and current Australian Sailing coaches who have althletes with quality sporting performance(s) throughout the nomination period. The Coach of the year has behaviours such as sportsmanship, fair play, respect and integrity and Contributes to the broader coaching community (eg coach education and development, mentoring, knowledge sharing, embracing innovation and inspiring others) and have exceptional levels of continuing self-development; and leadership of other people in their development.
