The NSW Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) is calling for nominations for representatives to join the committee.  

This Regional Advisory Committee is a committee of Australian Sailing and is elected by NSW clubs. The RAC representatives engage with and provide feedback from member clubs, and advocate and promote sailing and Australian Sailing.  

A call for nominations for Representatives is now open with three (3) positions vacant. Each Member Club is entitled to nominate one (1) person, who is a financial member of the Member Club. Nominations close on 15th June. 

Regional clubs are encouraged to nominate a member as meetings can be accessed online.

The committee can comprise a maximum of six elected and three appointed members. Elected members serve two-year terms, and appointed members serve a one-year term. The committee currently comprises the following members: 

The committee is calling for nominations of members who are willing to contribute to the development of Sailing in NSW. The role of the committee is to help create a stronger sport, primarily by strengthening relationships between clubs and AS; both listening and understand clubs needs and communicating the role of AS and the services we provide.
