We will be moving to replace the current Qualification Finder with a more robust and user-friendly tool designed to better meet the needs of clubs, centres, and administrators.

The existing Finder primarily serves users who already know the name of the official or instructor they are searching for. While effective for direct lookups, it offers limited support for those seeking to quickly fill vacant positions or locate available officials in their area.

 The new Coach, Instructor, Official Finder addresses this gap by focusing on discovery rather than name-based searches. With the updated system, AS will be able to create clearly defined categories of officials and instructors, each with a corresponding search function. This will allow users to find qualified officials based on role, category, and proximity—making it significantly easier to identify suitable candidates when needs arise.

 By shifting from a “who you know” model to a “who’s available” approach, the new Coach, Instructor, Official Finder aims to improve accessibility, reduce administrative friction, and ensure that events and programs can be staffed more efficiently.

The updated tool reflects AS’s ongoing commitment to modernising its systems and better supporting the community it serves.
