Good News Story for TAS!

Montrose Bay Yacht Club is a small volunteer club situated on the picturesque foreshore in the Glenorchy community. Australian Sailing TAS has been working closely with this club having secured an Active TAS Project Grant to “rebuild family connections with the Glenorchy foreshore”.Like many clubs, MBYC requires new young members to ensure the future of sailing in their area continues. This is a two year project that will be shared with other clubs to help rebuild membership and build connections with their local community groups.

Thank you to RAC member, Sam Dobie, the DSS and Peter Johnston Ship Chandlers, for supporting our first Discover Sailing Day on September 28th. It was a great success with a local young and enthusiastic familyjoiningMBYC.
