Proposed Club Protected Dates for Season 2025/ 2026
The dates provide an opportunity for clubs to schedule club championships racing and class associations to navigate State Champions planning.

The 2025 South Australian Summits have been on the move across SA and there is still an opportunity to attend a SA Sailing Summit near you. Join us for this opportunity to bring clubs and classes together.
Sailing Summits provide a great opportunity for clubs and classes to share information and ideas and to learn the latest from Australian Sailing on new initiatives, resources, and projects. Hear from content experts as well as those within Clubs, Class Associations and Discover Sailing Centres who have a great idea, resource of success story to share.
Key Themes for 2025
This year’s summits will focus on addressing the major challenges identified by the sailing community:
- Participation – Strategies to grow involvement at all levels.
- Funding – Exploring avenues for financial sustainability.
- Volunteering – Strengthening and supporting volunteer engagement.

South Australian Sailing Awards are Open
It is that fabulous time of year when we get to celebrate the achieves of clubs, classes, individuals and Teams! Nominations are now open for the 2025 Australian Sailing State and National Awards, with the annual South Australian event set to recognise clubs and members for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the sailing community over the past year.
This year also sees the introduction of the Innovation of the Year Award, which expands the criteria of the previous Sustainability Award to include outstanding technology, sustainability, programs, products, boat design and concept advancements contributing to a more innovative sailing industry. Nominations close 4th August.

Australian Sailing Learning Centre - Powerboat Program Essential Skills e-learning course
This course will teach you safety equipment and procedures, maritime regulation and navigation and boat handling techniques, as well as more advanced maneuvers such as the rescue and righting of crafts, towing and the laying and recovering of regatta marks.
A course for every member on the water! Visit your AS online profile : TRAINING
