Ichi Ban’s wild ride to IRC overall victory
Matt Allen’s JV 52 Ichi Ban has been declared the IRC overall winner of the inaugural Lendlease to Hamilton Island Yacht Race, none of those still at sea able to better the champion Sydney boat’s corrected time for the new 530 nautical mile race.

Little ‘Tackers’ set sail across Port Melbourne
Recently, with squeals of delight - phrases such as ‘tacking’, ‘turn to starboard’, ‘launch the boat’ and ‘duck the boom’, could be heard clearly from students as they sailed across the waters of Albert Park Lake and Port Melbourne. The lucky year 5/6 students from St Christopher’s Primary School, Glen Waverley, learnt to set sail!
