Sailors band together to assist in East Gippsland region bushfire recovery

On the 2nd & 3rd of May, Metung Yacht Club in East Gippsland will be hosting the â€œSailing to Recovery Regattaâ€. The main aim of event that is give sailors from all over Victoria and beyond a meaningful way of helping their sailing mates and the people of East Gippsland that are continuing to do it tough in the wake of the recent bushfires.

Americaâ€™s Cup is heading to the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) is pleased to announce the famous â€˜Auld Mugâ€™, the Americaâ€™s Cup, is headed across the Tasman Sea to the Club in March for a special weekend of events, marking the first time it has been seen in Australia since the 30th anniversary of Australia winning the Cup back in September 1983.

Double-handed Maverick cleans up in ORCVâ€™s 48th King Island Race

Sailing Maverick double-handed, Rod Smallman and Tom Vaughan have cleaned up in the Ocean Racing Club of Victoriaâ€™s 48th Melbourne to King Island Yacht Race, taking out IRC, PHS and Double-Handed divisions and capping off with a second in AMS in the 114 nautical mile race to Grassy in Tasmania.

Australian Sailing announces 2020 Instructor Conference schedule
