Training in Focus - Live Events
2026 Training In Focus - LIVE series
Training in Focus Live is Australian Sailing’s professional development workshop series for Instructors, Discover Sailing Centre Principals, Training Coordinators and Centre Administrators.
These practical, in-person workshops provide an opportunity to connect with other instructors and centre leaders, share ideas and explore ways to strengthen training programs and participation at clubs and centres.
Each event includes a mix of practical sessions, facilitated discussion and peer learning, with contributions from industry experts, Senior Instructors, Chief Instructors and Australian Sailing staff. Participants will gain practical ideas, coaching techniques and program insights that can be applied directly within their own training environments.
For accredited Instructors, attending a Training in Focus Live workshop also contributes to maintaining instructor currency by demonstrating ongoing professional development as part of the reaccreditation process.
