There are a million reasons why women and girls choose to get involved in sailing and every journey is unique.
'How SheSails' is an Australian Sailing initiative that celebrates women and girls in our sport by sharing their stories and experiences.
These are real stories, shared by women and girls from across Australia who have found their own connection to sailing. They come from all areas of the sport, including competitors, officials, instructors, parents and social sailors. By sharing their experiences, they hope to inspire and encourage more women and girls to discover sailing and experience the enjoyment, opportunities and sense of community it has to offer.
Sailing is a sport and recreational activity for everyone, with countless ways to get involved both on and off the water. Use the tags to explore stories that reflect your interests and discover the many different pathways sailing can offer.
