Race Management Days
Race Management Days
Race Management Days are a great way to introduce new and existing members to race management, encourage greater involvement in club activities and bring your Race Management Volunteer Team together.
These taster experiences provide an opportunity for participants or interested volunteers to meet club staff, committee members, Flag Officers and the volunteers who organise and run club racing. They also offer a chance to learn about the club’s volunteer onboarding processes and discover the different ways they can get involved.
Race Management Days should be offered as an initial free experience, helping demonstrate to the local community that the club is welcoming and open to new volunteers throughout the year.
Race management can seem daunting to those who are new to the sport, so keep the experience simple, informal and enjoyable. Focus on the fun, teamwork and camaraderie that make being part of a Race Management Volunteer Team so rewarding.
