QLD Home

Australian Sailing is proud to support Queensland Clubs, Volunteers, Officials and Sailors. On these pages you can find Queensland specific information along with links to Australian Sailing’s broader knowledge base.

Queensland’s sailing community includes 53 Clubs from as far north as Port Douglas and as far south as the Gold Coast.

We have 23 Discover Sailing Centres where you can learn to sail or perfect your skills in big or small boats at any age by participating in our nationally accredited programs.

Queensland holds many state, national and world championships and many of our clubs have great experience in organizing and hosting these events.  With the Olympics being held in Queensland in 2032 there will be many opportunities for our clubs to shine.

We celebrate our community legends once a year at the Queensland Sailing Awards with all of our sailing community having the opportunity to nominate.

We are active on Social Media. Find us on Facebook & Instagram. Clubs and Class Associations are encouraged to share event information and reports to us via the QLD Sailing News page

The Australian Sailing QLD team has a broad range of skills and are here to help with any questions you may have. Please contact our staff below.
