Inclusive Competitions
Inclusive Competitions
Inclusive sailing competitions provide opportunities for sailors of all abilities to challenge themselves, develop their racing skills and connect with the wider sailing community.
From state events to national championships, sailors can participate in a range of classes and competitions suited to their interests and experience. Discover upcoming events, learn about inclusive racing opportunities and find out how you can take part in competitive sailing.
Coach & Performance DevelopmentBefore entering a national or international competition, you should have a strong foundation in sailing, be familiar with your boat class, understand the racing rules and have gained racing experience at club and state level. Coaching plays an important role in developing your skills and preparing you for competition. While you can learn a great deal from sailors across different classes at your club, working with a coach can accelerate your progress and help you reach your full potential. Coaches support sailors by analysing performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement, providing guidance on sailing techniques and racing strategies, and helping athletes build confidence and consistency on the water. |
