Sail Melbourne

As one of Australia’s premier Olympic and invited class sailing events, Sail Melbourne will be back once again at Royal Brighton Yacht Club from November 26–29.

From the Optimist to the 49er, Sail Melbourne has something for everyone. It is a crucial part of youth and junior development, allowing young sailors to race on the same waters as their Olympic heroes.

Sail Brisbane

Held on the sunny shores of Brisbane, the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron will once again host Sail Brisbane from December 15–20.

The racing is guaranteed to be an extraordinary experience, attracting competitors from both near and far to engage in this world-class event hosted at RQYS on Waterloo Bay.

Australian Yachting Championships 2026 and 2027

Entries are now open for the 2026 and 2027 Australian Yachting Championships.

This regatta is one of Australia’s premier offshore racing events and is one you do not want to miss.

The 2026 Australian Yachting Championships will take place from October 2–5 at Southport Yacht Club, where for the first time they will be a part of Yacht Sails Co. Sail Paradise.

The 2027 Australian Yachting Championships will take place from January 23–26 at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club as part of the Festival of Sails.

2026 Women’s Match Racing Championships

As a World Sailing Grade 3 event, the Women’s Match Racing Championships brings together some of the strongest female sailing talent from across the country.

The talent hitting the water includes skippers Chelsea Williams (CYCA), Heidi Ferguson (CYCA), Isabella Holdsworth (RPAYC), Kirstin Norris (SoPYC), Mia Lovelady (RFBYC) and Sophie Jackson (FSC).

The event will take place from September 10–13 at Fremantle Sailing Club.
