With the deregistration of Yachting SA in 2023, the Australian Sailing board established a SA Regional Advisory Committee to take its place. This Regional Advisory Committee is a committee of Australian Sailing and is elected by SA clubs.  

A call for nominations for Representatives is now open with two committee positions vacant. 

Each Member Club is entitled to nominate one (1) person, who is a financial member of the Member Club. Nominations close on 15th June.  

Regional clubs are encouraged to nominate a member as meetings can be accessed online.

The committee can comprise of a maximum of six elected and three appointed members. The committee members serve two year terms and currently comprises the following members:  

The committee is calling for nominations for new members who are willing to contribute to the development of Sailing in SA. The role of the committee is to help create a stronger sport, primarily by strengthening relationships between clubs and AS; both listening and understanding clubs needs and communicating the role of AS and the services we provide.
