Job Title: Marketing Guru (15–20 Hours Per Week)

Reports To: General Manager

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Located in Outer Harbour 700 metres from the train station with free on-site car parking.

 

Job description

We’re looking for a creative and adaptable Marketing Guru to help grow our brand presence, engage our audience, and bring fresh ideas to life.

We are a membership based Incorporated which operates in a completely different eco-system:

  • Membership based revenue model
  • Seasonal cashflow swings
  • Committee and Management Committee reporting dynamics

This flexible casual or part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on content creation and understands how to connect with customers through modern digital marketing.

Required Core Competencies

  • Creativity – Ability to generate fresh ideas and engaging campaigns
  • Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication for content creation, marketing coordination, and audience engagement
  • Adaptability – Keeps up with rapidly changing trends, tools, and digital platforms
  • Basic Data Analysis (desirable) – Ability to use analytics and performance insights to inform marketing decisions

Skills & Experience Highly Valued

  • Digital literacy and confidence using online platforms and tools
  • Content creation and scheduling across social media, newsletters, and digital channels
  • Managing social media platforms and online communities
  • Email marketing campaigns
  • Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
  • Digital proficiency across SEO, SEM, PPC, social media platforms, and CRM systems
  • Service Design
  • CX (Customer Experience) and UX (User Experience)
  • Understanding of SaaS marketing principles

Ideal Background

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:

  • Multimedia Design
  • Digital Photography
  • Service Design, CX (Customer Experience), and UX (User Experience)
  • Digital marketing across SEO, SEM, PPC, social media platforms, and CRM systems
  • SaaS marketing
