Interested in becoming a Keelboat Instructor?

Our next opportunity to become a qualified Keelboat Instructor in South Australia is coming up in August, the course will be delivered at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia.
This course aims to teach instructors how to deliver the introductory courses of the Keelboat Program including Start Crewing and Start Helming.
Participants will learn and practise effective techniques for theory and practical instructing with continuous feedback and support.
Prior to registering all participants must fulfil the following pre-requisites:
Course Prerequisites
- Be 16 years old and Water Confident
- Comply with the State/Territory legislation including, but not only, child protection laws (if applicable in that state)
- Hold the level of competence in the Program they wish to instruct
- Hold a current Applied First Aid Certificate
Prerequisite Learning
- Complete the Australian Sailing Instructor General Principles - online learning course

Who should do this course?
This course is for anyone looking to become a Keelboat Instructor and instruct the Keelboat learn to sail program at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
