Recent changes to Queensland’s working with children laws are now in effect. To help organisations and individuals understand their obligations under the blue card system, we are hosting a series of events throughout the first half of 2026.

We’re hosting a range of online sessions to help organisations and individuals understand their obligations under the blue card system. Topics include:
- Who needs a blue card practical, industry-specific examples of who does and doesn’t need a card and what organisations must do to stay compliant.
- Ready, Set, Compliant! recent changes to blue card laws, linking requirements, the employee register, and using the Organisation Portal.
- Volunteer parent exemption what’s changed and how it applies in real-world scenarios.
