VIC Office 

The Australian Sailing Victorian Office will be closed from 23rd December until 9th January.

Farewell Jaimee 

The Victorian Office would like to say a huge congratulations to Jaimee Atkinson-Wall, for being accepted into a master’s degree in Speech Pathology. Unfortunately, this means Jaimee will finish up her time with Australian Sailing in early January. 

In her time with Australian Sailing, Jaimee has been a strong team member connecting with our regional clubs to provide support and overseeing the training and development workforce. Her efforts will not be left unnoticed. We wish Jaimee the best of luck with her future career.

Sail Melbourne returns to Port Phillip in 2023

The 2023 Sail Melbourne regatta is set to bring excitement and on-water action to kick off the racing calendar year. 

Held from 14th January 2023 until 18th January 2023, sailors are looking forward to sailing in Melbourne again. 

The event will attract competitors from around Australia, hosted by Royal Brighton Yacht Club and supported by Mordialloc Sailing Club, Black Rock Yacht Club and many club volunteers. Register to attend https://www.sailmelbourne.com.au/home/

What is an Australian Sailing number?  

An Australian Sailing Number is your unique identifier in the sport of Sailing in Australia that recognises you as a member of an affiliated club. Once you are registered in the system, you are generated:

• An Australian Sailing number
• A system username
• An online profile

You Receive an Australian Sailing number if you have:

• Become a member of an affiliated club
• Signed up for a Sail Pass
• Registered for an Australian Sailing Course

Your online profile allows you to view and manage the information Australian Sailing has about you, including;

• Basic details - name, DOB, gender
• Contact details - email, mobile number, address
• Membership history
• Course history
• Qualification History
• Invoices - course fees, instructor renewal fees, event registration fees

When do I need to use my Australian Sailing Number?

• Renewing membership
• Purchasing a SailPass
• Register for any Australian Sailing Accredited course
• Entering events
• Check the status of the membership
• Check qualifications
• Lodge a Personal Accident Insurance claim

What happens if my details are incorrect?

Your club’s administrator is the first place to seek assistance. They can manage your profile and provide you with access to log into your account.
