New CEO

The Board of Australian Sailing is pleased to announce that Malcom Page has been announced as the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, following the departure of Ben Houston who had held the role of CEO for the past six years. 

Last Month's Events

Youth Sail NT 

The 2025 Zhik Youth Sail NT event delivered fantastic Dry Season weather and steady breezes, setting the perfect stage for a big week of sailing in the Top End with 30 junior and youth sailors taking part, including 4 from interstate! More Information 

ILCA Clinic 

Following on from the successful Youth Sail NT coach Conrad hung around and ran an ILCA Clinic for the more mature sailors. All reports are that the day was fantastic and more would be amazing with 10 boats on the water!

NT Championships 

The 2025 NT Championships were run on Show Day weekend in slightly warmer weather. Despite a few hiccups shortening the event to a single day and ack of breeze in the morning the racing eventually took off with all 5 races delivered and 4 x divisions going into the final race on equal points! Results 

Upcoming Events

Club Umpire Course  

Anyone who has been or is interested in Match Racing on the DSC Elliott 7’s should attend this course. Each team is required to have at least one person on the crew who is an accredited Club Umpire. This is also a great opportunity for the sailors to better understand the role of the umpire and some of the rules.
