Funding Opportunities for Clubs In Queensland - DECEMBER 2023

Below is a list of current funding opportunities opening soon. A good chance to have a look to see if there is anything to suit your club. 

 


Gambling Community Benefit Fund

COMING SOON FOR 2024

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) is Queensland’s largest one-off community grants program and distributes approximately $60 million each year to not-for-profit community groups. The GCBF funding helps these groups to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

Lord Mayor’s Community Fund

Brisbane City Council's Lord Mayor's Community Fund supports community projects that build stronger communities in Brisbane.

Applications for the 2023-24 financial year are now open. Applications will close at midnight on Friday 14 June 2024, or when each ward had spent their allocated budget (whichever is sooner).

Varity Grants

Variety – the Children’s Charity is dedicated to empowering kids who are sick, disadvantaged or who have a disability. Our work allows children to gain mobility, freedom, get out and about in the community, communicate, achieve independence, and increase self-esteem.

Redland Community Grants

Redland City Council’s Community Grants Program provides funding to support local community organisations and individuals to undertake projects for the benefit of Redlands Coast. Grants are offered for community development, cultural heritage, environment, and sport and recreation. Eligible not-for-profit community organisations and individuals can apply for funding across three categories of Organisation Support, Project Support and Conservation Grants.

Round 2 opens 19 February 2024 and closes 17 March 2024.

FairPlay Vouchers

Register your organisation to accept FairPlay vouchers. Up to $150 can be used by eligible children to help pay for club membership, registration and/or participation fees for registered organisations.

Local Sporting Champions Grant - Australian Sports Commission

OPEN:1 NOV 2023        CLOSE:31 JAN 2024

The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.

ActiveKIT

ActiveKIT is part of the Activate! Queensland 2019 – 2029 (Activate! Queensland) is the Queensland Government’s 10-year physical activity strategy to further enrich the Queensland way of life and build on our strong community foundations to deliver better health and well-being outcomes for all Queenslanders.

An ActiveKIT Super Round opens in May 2024.
