The Yacht Sales Co. Sail Brisbane is set to return to Moreton Bay next week, bringing together some of Australia’s most promising junior, youth, emerging and high-performance sailors for five days of competitive racing. Hosted by Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) and proudly supported by The Yacht Sales Co., the regatta will run from 16-20 December 2025 and remains a key fixture on Australia’s summer sailing calendar.

When and where is it happening this year?

The Yacht Sales Co. Sail Brisbane 2025 is scheduled from 16 to 20 December 2025. Racing will take place on the waters of Moreton Bay, operating out of RQYS’s base at Manly, Queensland.

What kinds of boats and classes are involved?

The Yacht Sales Co. Sail Brisbane 2025 will bring together a diverse range of classes, spanning youth, junior, foiling, and Olympic-class competition. With racing delivered across five courses, the regatta provides opportunities for athletes at all levels to race in a world-class setting.
 
This year’s event also incorporates the Queensland WingFoil State Championship and serve as a key warm-up event for the Finn Class Nationals, Gold Cup and Masters World Championships, all being hosted by RQYS in February.
 
The 2025 program will include:

  • Foiling and invited classes
  • One-design fleets across five race courses
