Clubs and Discover Sailing Centres around the country should start marking their calendars for November, with planning for the annual Discover Sailing Day set to return this year. 

Discover Sailing Days are the perfect opportunity to showcase our sport and your club to potential new participants. Not only will people be able to have a short sail on the water with an experienced sailor, guests will be able to explore the club facilities and find out about Discover Sailing programs and courses. 

To get ahead of the calendar, now is the perfect time to start planning your club’s Discover Sailing Day in November. Closer to the date Australian Sailing will share a range of promotional templates and tips to help you promote your Discover Sailing Day. We will also work to promote Discover Sailing Days around the country through our website and social channels, with a focus on those listed as an event in revSPORT. 

Traditionally, Discover Sailing Days has seen hundreds of new participants around the country visit their local club, not just in November but across the summer months too.
