As sailors, we all share the same passion: a love of the wind and the ocean. At Australian Sailing, we want to share this passion with more people, encouraging allkinds of people to simply get out there and sail. Strongly linked to the ‘Discover Sailing’ programme, this social media campaign aims to spread the message that sailing is accessible to anyone and everyone.

Featuring more club and family-focused content on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok is the way to go, and we want the content to come from you! We are calling out to clubs from across the country, big and small, to share their unedited videos with the Australian Sailing Media and Marketing team. Whether it’s racing, training, events, behind-the-scenes moments, or simply great days out on the water, we want to see all your unedited videos.

It is important that your club or class association receives the traction, attention and members it deserves. By sharing your unedited videos with Australian Sailing, you can help advertise your club or class association and connect with new and potential members. In each post you help create, we will credit, tag and mention you in the caption.

Social media is a powerful way to spread our message, especially among young people. Inspiring the next generation of sailors is what we are all about, and it is key to increasing participation in the sport.
