The ACT Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) is calling for nominations for Representatives to join the committee.  

This Regional Advisory Committee is a committee of Australian Sailing and is elected by clubs in the Australian Capital Territory. The RAC representatives engage with and provide feedback from member clubs, and advocate and promote sailing and Australian Sailing.  

A call for nominations for Representatives is now open, with three (3) elected positions vacant. Each Member Club is entitled to nominate one (1) representative, who is a financial member of the Member Club. Nominations close on 15th June.

The committee can comprise of not less than three and a maximum of six elected and three appointed members. Elected members serve two-year terms, and appointed members serve a one-year term.

The committee is calling for nominations of members who are willing to contribute to the development of Sailing in ACT. The role of the committee is to help create a stronger sport, primarily by strengthening relationships between clubs and AS; both listening and understand clubs needs and communicating the role of AS and the services we provide.
