It was fantastic to have 63 Western Australia Club and Class Association representatives attend the Australian Sailing 2022 WA Club Conference. The club and class representatives were active in their feedback and sharing success stories and their challenges through out the day long conference held at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on Saturday 18th June 2022.

The participants heard from Australian Sailing on a wide range of topics including; the Australian Sailing new strategic plan and changes to staff structure and operations to better support clubs, new and exciting participation initiatives to retain and develop life long sailors, changes to the personal accident insurance, new sport integrity resources, safety and incident reviews as well as presentation from the WA department of Transport and Marine safety.
