Overview

The emphasis of each Conference is to develop your instructing skills and to update you on various aspects of the Discover Sailing programs. Your Regional Team of Australian Sailing staff, local Senior Instructors and an Australian Sailing Chief Instructor will deliver the Conference in your area.

The topics and activities for the practical on-water skills development sessions have been designed by Chief Instructors with the aim of ensuring all skills are being delivered to the highest quality, consistently and safely within all our learn to sail (and powerboat) programs.

Prerequisites

• Must hold a current Australian Sailing Instructor or Assistant Instructor qualification

• Water confident

• Comply with relevant State Maritime Licence requirements

The Conference is perfect for those wanting to refresh their instructor skills, learn from others and hear relevant updates from Australian Sailing.

Outcome

Those who attend the Conference, will receive a Completion Certificate which will sit on their mySailor profile.
