She Sails - Women in Sport Masterclass

The Women In Sport Masterclass is designed to bridge the gender gap in sport by empowering women in club environments to stepping into leadership roles. Using familiar themes found in sport such as resilience, communication, thinking on your feet and strategic planning, this creative and interactive masterclass works to grow participant confidence through enhancing their physical and vocal presence

Participants will:

• Gain techniques to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and demographics
• Understanding physiology behind nerves and how to overcome lack of confidence and self doubt in leadership settings
• Explore the potential of their existing leadership skills
• Clearly define personal values, strengths and purpose and understand how these intersect with those of your club or organisation
• Explore the impact of physical and vocal presence
• Discover the pathway to leadership in their club and ways in which they can participate in leadership groups
• Become a champion for bridging the gender gap in sport leadership

The Women in Sport Masterclass is suitable for female Club representatives, staff, instructors and members. 

This workshop is designed for 18-30 year old young women who are active within the sailing community and costs $30 per person. This cost is subsidised by Australian Sailing
