The conference is important to sailing committee chairs and sailing managers from clubs with an active involvement in Category 1, 2 and 3 races. The conference will provide facilitated discussions addressing:
- Risk Management
- Search and Rescue
- Incident Management
- Influencing Boat Owner and Crew Cultures
- Boat Documentation; Stability and Construction
- Developing Volunteer Skills and Competencies
- Incident Reporting
- Postponing or Abandoning Races
- Medical Emergencies in Crewed and Short Handed Racing
- Online viewing of the race
Updates will also be provided on World Sailing and Australian Sailing, and there will be an exciting and interesting guest speaker.
