Sailing Forward: Pathways, People and Practical Skills

At Youth Sail QLD we have on offer several sessions that are designed to give attendees practical information, useful connections, and hands-on learning opportunities across key areas of sailing participation and administration.

Sessions Available

·       Tuesday 22/9 11AM - Green Fleet Sailing Pathway:Discover the opportunities, pathways and support available to help your young sailor take their next step — on and off the water.

·       Wednesday 23/9 10AM – 11:30AM - Club & Class Workshop: Join a workshop focused on sharing ideas, addressing common club & class challenges, and strengthening operations to provide quality sailing experiences and grow participation in our sport. Malcolm Page OAM & CEO of Australian Sailing will be there.

·       Thursday 24/9 1PM – RevSport Database Training: Take part in practical training to build your confidence using the database and managing club & class information accurately or to learn about new features that will help to streamline your administration processes.

·       Thursday 24/9 5-7PM - Meet the Australian Sailing board members: A casual opportunity to drop in and connect with our board members, talk about sailing, and understand how leadership supports clubs and participants. Ask any questions you may have!

What Attendees Can Expect

Participants are encouraged to attend the sessions which will provide opportunities to ask questions, build your knowledge, and share experiences with others involved in sailing.
