Through the Sail Our Way (SOW) program, we are running a Professional Development day for all NSW Keelboat Racing Instructors and Female Keelboat Instructors looking to upskill in this area. Chief Instructor Nickie Jones will be joining us from WA to lead the day, with assistance from Senior Keelboat Instructors.

The aim of the day is to focus in the racing side of the syllabus with the focus on the Start Racing course and best practice on how to deliver the course going forward. SOW has been aimed to build participation in our clubs and to best achieve this, we need clubs offering these courses through their Discover Sailing Centre. This will create more opportunities for the participants in their Keelboat pathway. Twilight racing at clubs is very strong Aus wide, but we lack numbers on weekends where majority of the Keelboat Racing syllabus aims at; Boat Starts and Spinnakers, to name a couple.

Please note - Keelboat Instructors this is not a Keelboat Racing Instructor course and you will not be receiving the Racing Instructor Qualifcation post the PD day. You will still need to do the course.
