Child Safeguarding in Sailing Webinar Series

This two-part webinar series equips sailing clubs and volunteers with the knowledge and practical tools needed to create safe, supportive environments for children and adults. From understanding key safeguarding principles and the National Integrity Framework, to implementing effective risk management strategies, the series provides steps to help clubs confidently embed child safety into everyday operations.

Webinars will be no longer than one hour, comprising a presentation from Matt Sibley (Safe Sport Solutions) with time for participants to ask questions.

Webinar #1: What you need to know

This introductory session provides clubs and volunteers with a clear understanding of child safeguarding within the sport of sailing. It will unpack the key principles that underpin safe environments and explain how the National Integrity Framework and Child Safe Standards apply in a practical club setting.
