We are excited to advise that entries are open and Notices of Race have been published for this year’s Lipton Cup.

The regatta will be held on the weekend 14-16 November, 2025, and for the first time in many years, we have reintroduced an invitational twilight race on Friday afternoon 14th, and invite all regatta participants to join us on the water and at the Club ahead of a great weekend of racing.

Our Principal Race Officer, Steve Aulich, will also be attending the Club on Friday night to conduct a competitor briefing for Saturday’s racing, and there will be some fabulous entertainment on hand to warm us up for a fantastic weekend of competitive racing and Club festivities.

We have also decided to expand our racing format this year.

We will once again have the exciting mixed fleet performance racing as well as the cruising and classics passage races that we had last year. In addition, we will have a separate course with One Design Class Racing for Adams 10’s, S80’s, Sydney 32’s and Sydney 38’s, for exciting windward / leeward racing on Saturday. On Sunday, all competitors will come together for a combined fleet passage race, followed by a Regatta presentation on Sunday afternoon.

Once again, our regatta entry pricing remains very competitive. This year, we have introduced a July Entry Special of $130.00, which is the Early Bird Fee from last year, so jump in and get your entry in now and save.

Our OTB regatta is also set to be bigger and better than ever. We will have an expanded fleet of International Cadets all honing their skills as they prepare for the Australian Championships in Geelong in early January, as well as an expanded fleet of Optimist sailors, which will guarantee an exciting multi-format regatta for all of our sailing fleet, as well as adding to the festivities around the Club over the entire weekend.
