Australian Sailing is excited to launch the 2024 Training In Focus – Live events.

All accredited Australian Sailing Instructors and Discover Sailing Centre Principals are invited and encouraged to attend.

Accredited Instructors who attend the Training in Focus – Live events this year will automatically have their qualifications extended for a further 12 months, assisting in removing the barriers to reaccreditation further.

The Training In Focus – Live events bring together Instructors, Discover Sailing Centre Principals, Training Coordinators and Centre Administrators from across the State. They are a great way to continue to develop your practical instructing skills, share best practices, gain valuable insights and knowledge through peer learning, and stay updated on key topics or themes about growing participation at your club or centre.

Hear from industry experts, Senior Instructors, Chief Instructors and Australian Sailing Staff, and learn from your peers as they share best practice ideas and techniques, helping to develop skills and capacity and further enhance your club or centre's participation and training outcomes. 

Entry to the Training In Focus – Live events is free, but places are limited, and registration is required.

When: Saturday 7th September

Instructors: 9:00 until 17:00, followed by an hour of socialising.
Discover Sailing Centre Administrators: 9:00 until 13:00

Where: Royal Brighton Yacht Club

Lunch and light refreshments will be provided
