This series provides a fantastic hands-on opportunity to up-skill sailing Umpires. We invite anyone interested in taking up this opportunity to participate in the event as an umpire training exercise. Please share this with your fellow Umpires! Umpires that attend any of the evenings will be offered refreshments at the Club following the racing sessions.

Details of the two sessions, both held at RPYC, are below:

RPYC Sailing League

• Thursdays 3, 10, 17 November 2022
• Short course fleet racing
• Using the Club’s fleet of new Elliott 7’s
• Each team of four must be 2 male/2 female, members of RPYC
• 6 teams compete in racing on 3 and 10 November
• Top 3 teams compete in race Finals on 17 November
• Winning team awarded as RPYC Sailing League Champions!
• Top TWO teams will be entered into the WA Sailing League in December.

WA Sailing League

• Thursdays 1, 8, 15 December 2022
• Short course fleet racing
• Using the Club’s fleet of new Elliott 7’s
• Each team of four must be 2 male/2 female, members of an Australian Sailing affiliated Club
• Teams compete in racing on 1 and 8 December
• Top teams compete in race Finals on 15 December
• Winning team awarded as WA Sailing League Champions!
• Top team has opportunity to progress to the international Sailing Champions League-Asia Pacific.
