The re-accreditation process aims to ensure quality instruction is occurring and provides participants an opportunity to be updated with the latest resources and information. Participants will deliver a practical session and receive feedback and support.

This opportunity is for anyone looking to reaccredit their Safety & Sea Survival Instructor qualification and continue instructing the Australian Sailing Safety & Sea Survival program at an accredited Safety & Sea Survival Centre.

Outcome

This process aims to maintain skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • General Instructing skills - Communication, Planning, Course layout, etc
  • Fundamental technical skills: Liferaft activities, Lifejackets, Flares, etc
  • Updates on new equipment and/or resources

Pending your success, you will gain the Safety & Sea Survival Instructor qualification for a further 5 years.
