SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week 2023 - entry opens in one week

Entry for Townsville Yacht Club’s (TYC) SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week 2023 will open in one week’s time at 10am (Queensland time) on 1 March – so if you want to be there, you will need to be fast on the button; within 15 minutes of entries opening last year, the event was at 50 percent capacity and less than four hours later, was a complete sell-out.

Couta boats are coming home in February

The traditional wooden fishing boat fleet will be returning to Queenscliff in big numbers over the weekend of 25/26 February for the Couta Boat National Titles. It relives the history of racing for rewards but this time it’s for trophies and not a commercial fish catch.

EOI For Community Boating Facility at Harpley Lake

Wyndham City Council with the support of Lendlease Communities (“Lendlease”) are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested parties to form a partnership and collectively shape the feasibility/concept planning, design, construction, and operation of a future Community Boating Facility which caters for water-based recreation and community activities, such as rowing, canoeing, dragon boating, sailing and other water-craft activities.
