Expression of Interest 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships – Coaching Team

Australian Sailing is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and experienced sailing coaches to support selected Australian youth sailors at the Youth Sailing World Championships (YSWC) in Vilamoura, Portugal (Event dates: 11-19 December).

Up to three coaching positions may be offered to provide coaching, daily planning, and support for our youth sailors in a positive and developmentally appropriate environment.

If you have not already completed these certificates of completion for the Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) e-learning courses listed below, you can access the relevant course via the links provided. (If you don’t already have a SIA e-learning account, you will need to create one on the SIA e-learning platform).

• I confirm that I hold a valid Australian Sailing, Sailing Coach accreditation.
• I declare that all information provided in this form is accurate and complete.
• I consent to my information being shared with Australian Sailing Management for nomination purposes and, if successful, with relevant event organisers and service providers necessary for event entry, travel, and logistics.
• If successful, I consent to Australian Sailing promoting my appointment as a coach before, during, and after the event via its website, social media, and other communication channels.
• I consent to Australian Sailing contacting my references and verifying my credentials.
• If successful, I commit to fostering a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth sailors at the 2026 Youth Sailing World Championships.
• I confirm my availability to travel with the Australian Sailing Youth Team (ASYT) for the full duration of the trip, from 09 to 22 December 2026.
• I confirm that I will meet all pre-event requirements, including participation in team preparation activities such as online meetings and sailor education webinars.
• I confirm that I have not breached the World Sailing Anti-Doping Policy or Australian Sailing Anti-Doping Policy, unless I have been sanctioned and have fully served any imposed sanctions.
• If successful, I will comply with Australian Sailing policies and any reasonable directions from Australian Sailing in relation to this appointment.
